TV (Non-Residential) Licence

Overview

A TV (Non-Residential) Licence is required for operating or possessing any broadcasting apparatus on the premises, regardless of the nature of use. The broadcasting apparatus could be used as part of recreational, training, as well as other activities that are carried out within the premises.

Who is this for?

This licence is meant for any establishment which operates or possesses any broadcasting apparatus on the premises. These include:

 

·         Hotels

·         Hospitals

·         Companies

 

Fees

The non-residential TV Licence is valid for a year commencing from the date of application and is renewable on a yearly basis thereafter.

The TV Licence fee payable for each TV set installed on a non-residential property is $110 per TV set per year. If there are two TV sets installed, the amount payable will be S$220 per year.
