Enterprise Assistance
The Enterprise Assistance Grant Scheme [E-Assist] aims to build sustainable business growth for high-potential local media enterprises. The scheme focuses on helping companies achieve long-term sustainable growth through productivity.
With effect from 1 July 2012, Enterprise Assistance has been enhanced with Enterprise Assistance (Productivity) to help media companies raise efficiency through process improvements and digital migration. Funding for process improvements has been made possible through support from the National Productivity and Continuing Education Council (NPCEC) which is a tripartite council set up in April 2010 to achieve national productivity growth over the next ten years. Funding for digital migration, however, is by MDA under its Singapore Media Fusion Plan.
Enterprise Assistance (Productivity) [E-Assist (Productivity)]
E-Assist (Productivity), administered as part of the Enterprise Assistance Scheme, aims to stimulate process improvements of the media sectors by catalysing the adoption of more up-to-date production technologies by the industry, especially in the critical workflow processes of content creation, content asset workflow management and automation. In addition, it aims to widen consumption and monetisation footprint via digital migration. E-Assist (Productivity) supports Singapore-registered organisations listed in the Media Singapore Standard Industrial Classification (SSIC) Code with at least a 30% local shareholding. More details are available in the E-Assist (Productivity) Guidelines.
If you would like to find out if your company is listed in the Media SSIC code, enter your SSIC code here.
