HERE'S your chance to make a difference with your views on censorship and content standards in Singapore.
CRC 2009 is reviewing content standards to ensure that they keep pace with societal norms in a fast-changing world.
CRC Chairman Mr Goh Yew Lin says: "Our work impacts all Singaporeans, so we need to reach out to as many people as possible. We have set up a website and embarked on a survey. We urge members of the public to provide their frank views."The Censorship Review Committee 2009 invites you to put them forward in a public survey on 1,000 individuals in January 2010. You can also provide feedback via the CRC website or by email.
CRC is an independent committee appointed by Mr Lui Tuck Yew, Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, to conduct a review of content issues across the various media, including broadcast, films, videos, publications and new media.

Play your part and share your views on content standards.
In view of the social and technological changes that have occurred since the last review in 2003, it is time to assess the public's attitudes and views once again.
CRC will take the survey responses into consideration for its recommendations to update censorship policies and content guidelines. Your frank views thus matter greatly.
